I’ve loved listening to and singing along with Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, and Frank Sinatra for as long as I can remember. I asked for my first instrument at age 4: the violin. It wasn’t long before I requested a stand-up bass (age 7) then took piano lessons (age 9). By middle school I picked up the saxophone and dabbled with the guitar. By 16 I was in the studio, recording and producing my own songs—which I continue to do.
